With the summer season now in full swing, the yard is beautifully vibrant, and we are delighted to welcome both our regular local customers and holiday visitors exploring Dorset this month. Whether you are preparing for a day at the beach, hosting guests, or looking to enjoy exceptional local food and drink, we have everything you need to make the most of July.

🍷 July Alfresco in the Yard

Sunday, 26th July | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Our popular July Alfresco event returns to the yard on the final Sunday of the month. We are hosting a wonderful showcase of local craftsmanship, making it the perfect daytime outing to relax and sample some of the region's finest pairings:

Cheese & Wine Tasting: The experts from Morrish & Banham will be with us, offering expert pairings of exceptional wines alongside artisan cheeses.
Dorset Nectar Cider: To complement the afternoon, the team from Dorset Nectar will be serving their award-winning, organic Dorset ciders.

Entry is free, and everyone is welcome to join us in the yard to enjoy the exceptional atmosphere.

🧺 Picnic Essentials & Morning Deliveries

We are officially in peak picnic season. If you are heading down to the coast, stop by to stock your beach hampers with our curated selection of local charcuterie, cheeses, and cold drinks.

Fresh Saturday Croissants: Start your weekend perfectly. Every Saturday morning, we receive a fresh delivery of warm, artisanal croissants from Evershot Bakery.
Morning Modbury Coffee: Our coffee machine is serving freshly brewed premium coffee daily—ideal for your morning stroll or as a post-swim warmer.

🌸 Fresh Blooms & Garden Plants

The yard is currently filled with seasonal colour, featuring fresh additions for your home or holiday accommodation:

Farm-Grown Flowers: Hand-gathered directly from our own farm across the yard. We receive our main delivery every Friday to help you set up for the weekend, with fresh top-ups arriving throughout the week.
Bride Valley Plants: We have a beautiful selection of hardy, seasonal outdoor plants sourced directly from the Bride Valley, perfect for refreshing your garden borders or containers.
