Gelato originates from Italy but it isn’t simply the Italian word for ice cream. Gelato is made using more milk and less fat than ice cream. It also contains less air, which means the texture is much creamier and richer even though gelato has a much lower fat content.

Gelato is served at a slightly warmer temperature than ice cream and this allows you to really taste the deliciously intense flavours - bellissimo!


Giuseppe & Suzanne Bosi  pour Lensomy into their gelato which is freshly made on the premises using milk from Dorset cows and the finest quality ingredients. Choose a cup of either vegan/gluten free or traditional and select 1, 2 or 3 flavours from the options  in our freezer.
