Sharpham Rustic Chive & Garlic is a semi-hard cheese made with Jersey cow’s milk. It’s fresh, rich, and crumbly in texture and deliciously savoury with the addition of chives and garlic. Appealing flecks of green run through the cheese. It is made in large whole cheeses and little truckles. The truckles make the perfect addition to a cheeseboard or on top of a cheese wedding cake.
Urban myths speak of the day when the cows ate wild garlic, conceiving the idea of this Sharpham favourite.
However it came about, the richness of the cheese complements the savoury herbs and results in a scrumptious guest for any cheese board or a fantastic melted topping for bread, pasta or meats.
