  • A rich, local butter simple but perfect: spread thick, add a pinch of sea salt if you like, and you’ve got a timeless West Country snack.
  • Honey & cream for “thunder and lightening nod to the old‑fashioned treat: drizzle honey and a spoon of thick cream over your Knobs for a decadent dessert‑style indulgence.
  • Extra Dorset Blue Vinny (for the Hardy-inspired touch)Thomas Hardy was known to enjoy strong blue cheese with his Knobs, so we lean fully into tradition by keeping Dorset Blue Vinny front and centre.
  • A proper Dorset brew We recommend serving your Knobs with a pot of Clipper tea – or a glass of good Dorset Nectar cider if you’re feeling particularly West Country.

  • Dorset Blue Vinny 100g

    Dorset Blue Vinny is a multi-award winning English blue cheese, little known outside the West Country. It is made at Woodbridge Farm in north Dorset run by the Davies family to a 300 year old recipe, using hand-skimmed milk from the farm’s Holstein-Friesian cows. Exceptionally creamy with a mellow blue taste, Dorset Blue Vinny has a flavoursome, edible rind. It tastes delicious on an oatcake with a spoonful of dark and fruity chutney.
    Made with unpasteurised milk so not advised for consumption when pregnant.

    Open Air Dairy Cheddar 200g

    At the top of the Bride Valley lies the Open Air Dairy just 5 miles from Modbury Farm shop.

    Their cows are so free range they even milk them in the field as they graze and enjoy the open air, keeping happy cows and creating a delicious rich distinctive cheddar.

    You can taste the joy in every bite!
