We use only the finest ingredients to bring you our award-winning artisan preserves, made with love in our kitchen in the heart of the Dorset countryside.

Chrissy and Karl started From Dorset With Love in 2010 whilst Chrissy was on maternity leave after the birth of their second child, Jensen. With a skill and a passion for preserving their business quickly grew, even with Chrissy back in her “normal” job.
Within the first year, two products attracted 1 Gold Star and 2 Gold Stars from the Great Taste Awards. This was an incredibly proud moment for them and it wasn't long before Chrissy was able to leave her job to take on From Dorset With Love full-time (as full-time as you can be with two young boys to look after!). Karl is now able to balance his full time job with adhoc design and production needs of From Dorset With Love so is often working late in to the night or during the weekends to help take the pressure off Chrissy. It's a true family business.
In early 2013 they took the next big step and moved production from our home kitchen to a converted stable on the outskirts of Milton Abbas. After 6 months of DIY renovation work and equipment installation (in between the day job, family life, food shows and production!) they finally moved in in September 2013.
Having gone on to win many more awards over the years including a much elusive 3 Star Great Taste Award in 2014 for their Dorsetshire Sauce as well as winning Best Food Producer in the 2014 Dorset Food, Drink & Farming Awards of which they were also finalists in 2015 and 2016.
During 2016 they made the steps to improve the brand by having a complete makeover. The new logo and artwork was carried out by a friend and without him the process would not have been possible! Which is what drew us to them!
All of our products are handmade in small batches using the open pan method using as much locally sourced ingredients as possible.
WE love how they look and taste as do our customers and visitors. One of our best sellers for gifting and taking back home with those who visit Modbury each year for holidays!
