Tony Juniper, on the balance of nature restoration and sustainable farming
About the event
We live in one of the most nature depleted countries on earth, but we also have to feed ourselves. Tony's talk will be addressing this difficult balance of allowing nature restoration to return alongside more sustainable food production, both essential for our, and the planet's future.
His 20-30 minute talk will be followed with an interview by Dr Sam Rose, Executive Director of West Dorset Wilding, who will then chair a Q&A.

About West Dorset Wilding
West Dorset Wilding is managing a Defra-funded large-scale restoration project in the wider Brit Catchment called the Brit Valley Project. Tony has kindly agreed to give a public talk as part of his visit to the Brit Valley project team, farmers and landowners. As he is a public servant, the talk is free, but West Dorset Wilding needs funds to cover the costs of the event and expand its work in West Dorset, so donation tickets are available and appreciated.
