Modbury Farm Shop Plant Sale

19 May 2024

Modbury Farm Shop Plant Sale

Save the date 19th May!

Join us in the yard for a full day of Plant based fun meeting local growers with green fingers and share the love of nature in the Bride Valley! We will be holding our first plant sale of 2024 and you are all invited to come along and chat to the professionals and other garden enthusiasts from the neighbourhood.

We have the Bride Valley Nurseries as our resident all year round plant provider which we sell direct via the shop. This year they will be adding a water feature to the yard and selling Aquatic plants and Lilies. Meet Julie on the day to share her knowledge on how we can all add a water feature to our gardens or refresh an established pond. Great for the wild life and our own mindfulness.

This year we also welcome the Flower Social C.I.C who are now trading from the Polytunnel and the gardens at Modbury Farm behind the barns. They have been providing the shop with cut flowers which all customers and visitors have loved and this year they will be adding cut flower plants. Meet them on the day and find out about the workshops that they will be offering on Friday mornings.

Abbey Farm Flowers have been a big feature within the shop from Autumn with their beautiful dried flower arrangements up in the roof space and gorgeous seasonal wreaths. We are very excited to have them with us in the yard with their living wreaths and I am sure they will wow you with their beautiful creations.

Flowerdew Farm is looking to bring her magical Alpaca manure and other special ingredients to help your plants grow!

We will be adding stall holders and guests to this post as we gather our community so keep checking for updates. Until then add the date and repeat after me, `April showers bring May flowers!` and lets create a day of pure Lensomy (unconditional love) for nature and all the green fingered people who do their bit for our beautiful Bride Valley and all who enjoy her!

Share and Invite family, friends and neighbours and if you would like to trade email or pop into the shop and introduce yourself. Local and plant based only need apply .

Thank you
